Description
Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins, one of the most popular silver coins as they are 999.99% pure silver.
The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf has been minted by the Royal Canadian Mint since 1988. The coin has the highest face value $5 and purity .9999 of all official government silver bullion coins.
Obverse
The obverse side of the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin has the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. Inscribed across the top of the silver coin is "ELIZABETH II." Along the bottom of the coin is the face value of "5 DOLLARS." The year of issue is also inscribed along the bottom of the each of the Canadian silver coins.
Reverse
The reverse side of the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin features, the Canadian Maple Leaf. Inscribed along the top of the silver bullion coin is "CANADA." The words "FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR" are found inscribed along the bottom of each of the Canadian Silver coins.
"9999" is displayed on both sides of the Canadian Maple Leaf representing the purity of the silver in the bullion coin.
