Bars, plates and coins are available directly from our own stock. It is one of the Platinum Group of Metals - PGM's - and is known as a white metal. But unlike Platinum, Palladium has more of a commercial role in that it is very stable when being used to in atomic reactors to produce electricity. It is used in the production of petroleum products, jewellery, for the storage of hydrogen and electricity, as a silver alloy in capacitors, you'll even find it in catalytic convertors! It also has a very special application in photography. Because of this, Palladium is in demand commercially and their price can be effected by these markets - its a damn sight cheaper than Platinum too!
Although it is a noble metal, it is not seen as a 'bullion investment' by the taxman so it’s purchase is subject to VAT.
